- If a file uploaded in PMB or project, provider get email notification as well as PMB notification where Upwork does not have this feature. Today I faced a major problem for this file upload notification issue. Client uploaded a file in the project spec and description and I provided my quote based on this but when client offered (award) the project he added more files but I did not notify it so I missed it and I kept my old estimation but I need more and more working hours to finish (4-5 times works than my estimation) so I fall into an odd situation. What should I do now?
It’s not client’s fault or not mine. It’s Upwork’s Fault. Does Upwork going to pay for this extra works? Or I should break my commitment?
- Upwork releases a payment after many days where Elance releases payment instantly and we can send files to client after the payment release but Upwork take a lot of time (weekly release, Wednesday not sure what is the reason) and by this time client asked for the update or files and I send it but today I fall into a great trouble. One client already took my files but his payment declined after a week. Who is responsible for this? Upwork should follow Elance rules not oDesk’s evil rules. Elance was more popular then oDesk but Upwork possesses oDesk’s bad rules. Not sure who is getting the benefit but scammer is taking this advantages.
- Why a payment needs to release or charge on Wednesday when client is sending money instantly?
- Why a payment needs to transfer in schedule? I may take the payment when I need like Elance. Now I need to pay transfer fee several times because of this bad rules.
- Currency conversion rate is also very low then Elance and the international market.
- Upwork is not ready for Agency; it’s for individual then why Upwork force to move clients and providers from Elance to Upwork?
- Upwork Message systems are also very poor. I cannot find old message easily. I need to open one by one.
